Speaking of the famous scenic spots in Fujian District of Kyoto, maybe you will think of Fushimi Inari Shrine.

But in fact, there are other places in Fushimi District in Kyoto that are suitable for taking pictures.

One of them is “Fushimi-jō”.Fushimi Castle(Fushimi-jō),also known as Momoyama Castle (Momoyama-jō) or Fushimi-Momoyama Castle, is a castle in Kyoto‘s Fushimi Ward. The current structure is a 1964 replica of the original built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi.

Such magnificent castle are in Fushimi District in Kyoto.

Reproduced where is said to be built by Hideki Toyoshi, rebuilt by Tokugawa Jiakang.

In fact, the Fushimi-jō became an abandoned castle.

It is said that the central part of the castle which is called tenshukaku have been moved to Nijō Castle ,and watchtowers (high buildings at castle’s gate where were used to observe enemy sentiments, etc.) were moved to Ōsaka-jō,Yo-jo,Fukuyama-jō and Edo-jō.

Although the castles are mainly built as entertainment facilities for now, but, because they reproduce the real castle buildings, when they appear in front of us,we will be shocked by its complete structure.

Because there is a distance from the nearest station, there are few tourists in this scenic spot.

Although we can’t go into the castle now,but we can take pictures as a souvenir.
